Aria Dragons were released on May 21, 2016, as an update to the previously retired Bright Pink Dragon and as part of Dragon Cave's 10th Birthday release updates. The breed was previously only female, but the update allows them to be male now, along with dimorphic adult sprites.
Bright Pinks used to only breed Pink Dragon eggs after being discontinued, or the egg of their partner's breed; as Aria dragons, they can produce eggs of their own kind again, however will still breed Pink eggs on the rare occasion.[1]
Official Dragon Descriptions
Egg
"This bright egg has a warm shell."
Hatchling
"Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often."
Mature Hatchling
"Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing."
Adult
"Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct."
