Bauta Dragons were released on September 30, 2017, alongside Spinel Wyverns. Like all two-headed dragons, they can only breed with other two-headed breeds, and their eggs cannot be bitten by Vampire Dragons.
Breeding a Bauta Dragon with a Blancblack Dragon may produce a hybrid Jester Dragon.

Bauta Dragons are easily identified by the fused, golden scutes that cover their twin heads in gleaming, gilded masks. They are regal in bearing, and tend to possess a serene disposition. These dragons are most active in early spring during the height of their mating season, engaging in jovial rituals of courtship to woo prospective mates. Bautas are found on temperate islands and lagoons, and are especially fond of sea-mounts near shore. They happily share territory with humans, and take notable interest in the affairs of mankind.

- I dunno why I feel compelled to share this, but a neat little tidbit about what we do as artists:
A lot of us work with what we call sprite proportions. It's tricky learning how to fit sprites within size constraints while preserving detail and highlighting breed features. Well, one way we do this as artists is by compressing some dragon body parts and by exaggerating others. Wings are usually downsized and heads and necks upsized. The Bauta, for instance, has very large heads and kind of puny wings. Given its bulky build, its wings could never in a million years generate enough lift to fly as drawn. Well, sometimes we just have to suspend disbelief for the sake of neat art and ideas. I've attached a silhouette of what I imagine to be a better proportioned Bauta for comparison to the one we have on site. Even so, its wings would still be on the small side! Just a trick of the trade for all you aspiring artists out there! Thanks for the warm reception, guys.
