Golden Wyverns were released on the 23rd of January 2012 alongside the Royal Blue Dragons to celebrate the Chinese New Year and also the beginning of the "Year of the Dragon". Before there were any adults, forum users called them "shimmers".
Golden Wyverns are classed as rare. They can be found in the Alpine biome. Their eggs sometimes get mixed up with those of the gold prize dragons.
Fun Fact: Golden Wyvern hatchlings were the only hatchlings to dress up for the Halloween 2012 Dragon Dress Up event.

They'll do anything to protect their families, though as they are also highly intelligent, many try to avoid confrontation and find diplomatic solutions to problems. However, they aren't above chasing out another dragon who means to be a threat! They are quite skilled in the magic of illusion and appearance, not so much with the elements. They can also change one substance into another, like alchemy.
