  • I was able to gather eggs with 1 day of live and White dragons can ward dragons with less than 3 days, however, the opposite applies to the Red dragon, Vampire dragon and the Pink dragon.

I have both screenshots as proof - premission to post them and add them?

    • That's brilliant, thanks! For something this small, easiest thing will be to just include a link to your screenshot in the Edit Summary, that way if someone wants to fact check it, it's available there (generally only senior editors do this hence why it's not added to the articles). You'll need to update the Breed Specific Actions and White Dragon pages; did you happen to be able to test if Ward stays on an egg when it's Teleported by any chance?

        Loading editor
    • I haven't. And, alright! At the moment, it's late here so, I might edit it tomorrow.

  • So I was looking at the Zyumorph dragon page because it's the dragon of the month. In the second paragraph it says that the breed has a BSA "Summon" that's different from the Summon BSA for Guardians of Nature. However, when viewing the Breed Specific Actions page (which is linked to when referring to Zyumorph's BSA), the only Summon BSA is the one for Guardians of Nature. I'm just wondering if this is purposeful or not and possibly raising it to your attention.

      Loading editor
    • There's "Summon" and then "Summon (Sinomorph)" down the bottom :P Though it's a good point you raise in that that can be confusing, so I'll edit the other to be "Summon (Guardian of Nature)" to make it more clear.

        Loading editor
    • Oh, I didn’t see the second summon, my apologies.

  • I hope I wasn't being presumptuous, but I went ahead and added a market parameter to the dragon infobox, to display the price of the eggs in the new egg market. I'm working on adding these prices to the relevant pages.

There will be some I cannot add, as I don't have them unlocked.

    • I've undone my edit on the Red and I was about to add the eggs to the CBR page. Though, I apologise for the unauthorized edits that I did.

    • Thank you for doing so. I'm sorry AnselaJonla, but after the PMs I received on the forum over this issue, I will have to enforce the CBR rules as we do for all users. I know your intentions were good, but you must understand that wikis are community projects- you can't make an edit to a major template on your own without first discussing it with the community and reaching a consensus. We also don't add unconfirmed/assumed information into an article as if it is confirmed on the site either (it's something we've gotten in trouble for in the past for just hosting on CBR even). The bot will revert your edits and the information will go to CBR instead for the time being until everyone is happy with what to do on the infobox, and the market's mechanic is better understood (see site description: "Prices may vary from time to time based on overall demand.").

  • Hey-o, shouldn't Red-Tailed Wyrm Pygmy be just "Red-Tailed Wyrm"? In this case, both Encyclopedia name and breed description do not say "Pygmy".

      Loading editor
    • I considered it but we've had issues in the past before with regards to the morphology being added to the end of the name, and the outcome of that discussion was to try follow the site description above all but otherwise add it in to avoid confusion. I can't remember which article(s) had the edit wars on as I wasn't there for them, but we could always open this up for discussion again?

        Loading editor
    • Ah, sure. I've seen there are some breeds where Encyclopedia and description names differ ("Striped-river Dragon" v. "Striped River Dragon"), but seeing as they're the same here, I thought I'd ask. Unless we get another "Red-Tailed X", at least there won't be confusion what the article is referring to.

  • A few days ago, the four new dragons have their respective elementals:

    Floret Wyvern - Life

    Freckled Dragon - Neutral

    Tatterdrake - Dark

    Red-Tailed Wyrm - Air

      @Wiki-LPS100: Awesome, thanks again :D

    • Yes, great! I thought that would be relevant but didn't really know how to put it into words in the article. (I forgot to log in before leaving my previous message.)

  • Hello! I'm sorry if I make mistakes when editing, this platform is all new to me. Now this may seem like nitpicking but I was wondering how the terms variant, variety and variation are used in the wiki for different colours (or other types) of some dragons. It's no bick deal but I became confused as I saw that the word used varied from page to page and was a bit unsure what would be the correct choice. :)

Another thing, I'm definitely not criticising here, but what is the reason for Xenos to all have their own articles while the Zyus share one article?

      Loading editor
    • Hi and welcome to the wiki! Don't worry at all, we all have to start somewhere and I'm always here to help if you need it :)

Honestly, there's never been a discussion on an official usage, it's usually at discretion. Variety is rarely used (by me anyway), whereas variant is usually when singling out a specific single type and variation is talking about them in general (variation can be used for a single item or multiple items depending on the context). Does this help at all?

Originally the Xeno's were all on one article but after a discussion with the spriter, it was revealed that they considered them to be separate species, and sub-species of Wyrms in general (you can read more on Category:Xenowyrms). This differs to the concept of the Zyumorph which not only shares all of its descriptions, from egg to adult, but has had its spriter say it is a single breed (you can read more on the Additional Information section of Zyumorph Dragon).

    • Ah, okay. I felt like I quite couldn't form a picture in my mind of the usage of those three words here. As a non-native English speaker it's always difficult to get nuances like this right, but it's good to know that there isn't any agreement of how the words should be used when referring to different things.

For the Xenos, that made it much clearer! Separating them sounds very logical now. I remember having read that they are a sub-species of Wyrms but I had completely forgotten that and I'm not sure if I actually processed that information even in the first place, haha.

      Thanks for the answers! :)

    • I can't access the Graveyard, it's like it doesn't exist to me.

EDIT: Oh, nevermind, it worked for me. Strange, I tried last time but, it didn't worked... I'm guessing it's because I'm on mobile.

  • On your profile it says genderfluid, profile box thing says female. Just saying.

      Loading editor
    • Ah, yes that's because I'm biologically female and don't really mind what pronouns people want to use so I figured putting female in there would make it easier for those unaccustomed to non-binary use.

  • I went through all and I am happy to report that all the green sprites are there and have been sorted accordingly. Took liberty to make separate section just for holiday dragons to make sorting bit easier.

I also left some notes regarding Sunrise and Sunset sprites, as well as other information to "series" sections. I didn't include more dragons that never got green sprites and left the "no green sprite" from previous editor in place, since I figured I'd leave it up to you if it is worthwhile to include them or not.

Either way, as I was doing my thing, I entirely forgot about the Undead dragons, though figured they may not have gotten green sprites due to their very limited time of appearance (though I don't think anyone caught glimpse of them either according to image gallery). But might be good idea to ask about them from the sprite artists just in case though.

    • Words cannot describe what an amazing job you've done, and how helpful you have been to this project. Thank you <3 And the Undead's never occurred to me- now that the event credits have been released, I'll get in touch with Process about that (they're currently collecting up info from the previous event for us still).
