Silver Dragons are one of the earliest breeds to be released on the site. They are considered to be very rare, and as a result are highly sought after by members of the Dragon Cave. They were also one of few breeds that had separate sprites for males and females before the Dimorphism replacement sprites were put into effect. They currently have no breed specific action and likely never will due to being a rare.

There was a rumor stating that one can tell if a Silver Dragon will gender male or female by the shadow on the egg. If lighter it's said the dragon inside will gender female, and darker if it will gender male, however this was disproven, since all Silver eggs have always used the same sprite.

There is currently discussion of an update to the Silver Dragons, much like the Gold Dragons. However, there is no official word on if this may happen.
