Trophies, also known as badges, were added to the site on May 2, 2010. The first badge was as an intended fix for the Festival of Eggs basket. Later, badges for collecting 50, 200, and 500 dragons respectively were added (including Leetle Trees, adult and frozen dragons, but excluding released dragons; if the total falls below a badge level, the badge reverts to the previous level). A 1000 dragon badge was added on DC's 11th Birthday.
Badges are most commonly awarded for participation in holiday events, with "spriter's alt" versions applying in some cases to users and staff who planned said events.
