Water Dragons, also known as "blue dragons" or "lake dragons", were one of the first dragons originally on the site. They are common and currently have no breed specific action. It is now possible to breed Water Dragons with Magi Dragons to get Shallow Water Dragons, or with Skywing Dragons to get Two-Finned Blunas.
TJ09 mentioned in this dragon request topic that: "Water dragons are officially "Light Blue" dragons, actually."
Before the "Dimorphism" change on March 26, 2010 both genders of this dragon appeared as the old sprite.
It is unknown quite sure whether the Water dragon has the same appendages as the Deep Sea Dragon or if it looks more like a basic lindwurm, but with fins instead of claws. It has been suggested it has three sets of fins:
- One set as the "arms",
- second set as the "wings",
- and the last set as the "legs".
On Pokémon Night the Water Dragon showed the sprite of the Pokémon Gyarados.
When sorted by "Breed" they are listed as "Light Blue" on a users scroll.
